This programà  has provided meà  exposure toà  theà  realà  working worldà  I mightà  faceà  later. God willing,à  all the knowledgeà  and experienceà  gainedà  will beà  myà  full advantage. As aà  company thatà  has taken theà  responsibility to train,à  it appears KPKà  couldà  very wellà   play its partà  in providingà  training and exposure to me. In aà  workà  environment à  thatà  was new to me,à  a sense of responsibilityà  and dedicationà  has encouraged meà  to completeà   this trainingà  successfully.  Problem-solving skillsà  and communication skillsà  are twoà  very importantà  elements thatà  I canà  learnà  here,à  and bothà  truly testà  my skillsà  as aà  new personà  in theà  KPK. Therefore,à  I willà  useà  this experienceà  asà  the most valuableà  assetsà  to faceà  the working worldà  in the future. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY  All studentsà  Bachelorà  of Applied Science (Maritime Technology)Intakeà  Julyà  09/08, Facultyà  of Maritime Studiesà  and Marine Science(FMSM)à  isà  required to undergo industrial trainingà  for threeà  months, beginning onà  May 15à  untilà  August 4, 2011. During theà  Industrial Trainingà  programà  atà  Kemamanà  Portà  Consortiumà  Sdnà  Bhdà  (KPK) in this period, Ià  wasà  placed inà  several departments,à  includingà  Traffic and Maintenance Department andà  Marineà  Department. Through participationà  inà  this program, Ià  was exposed to theà  systemsà  of work adopted byà  theà  departmentà  inà  carrying outà  thisà  task andà  has certainlyà  a lot of experienceà  and workmanshipà  to me.  Manyà  systems of work thatà  I learnedà  while stayingà  at theà  KPKà  it includes aà  Working à  Systemà  Controlà  Ships for entry inà  the Portà  and Working System Controlà  Ships exit inà  Portà  (Department ofà  Traffic) andà  Workingà  System of Pilot operationà  in the Portà   (Marine Department). Throughà  involvement inà  the dailyà  workà  that hasà  direct contact withà  theà  working system, Ià  not onlyà  exposed toà  officeà  work, butà  Ià  was alsoà  given à  exposureà  through theà  implementation ofà  tasks outside the office.  Allà  thisà  workà  requires the cooperation ofà  the systemà  and demandà  high commitmentà  from all partiesà  andà  ità  is essentialà  to enable theà  KPKà  to implement andà  provide the best serviceà  and effectivelyà  to its customers. Thus, withà  thisà  Trainingà  Program, studentsà  will get moreà  exposure onà  the working world andà  to understandà  the challenges ofà  working through the program. In addition,à  ità  also helpsà  students learnà  the systemsà  commonlyà  workà  as wellà  to add value toà  the learners themselves.
